RAHGS “STUFF SALE” – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society will be holding a “STUFF SALE” at the Historic Village in Bailey Park on Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m

ANTIQUE FIRE APPARATUS MUSTER REGISTRATION – 9 a.m.

Come and check out a variety of antique fire trucks, the Amkus Rescue Tools truck and more on display at Bailey Park, near the Festival Grounds.

Muster registration begins at 9 a.m. All antique emergency vehicles are welcome.

Raffle will be drawn at 3:30 pm, need not be present to win.

MERCHANT & VENDOR STREET SALES – 10 a.m. to dusk

Merchants and vendors will be lined up along Beebe Street. Be sure to visit the non-profit organizations to help support our surrounding communities.

HORSE SHOE TOURNAMENT – SINGLES – 10:00 a.m.

Register at 9:00 am. Trophies are sponsored by TBA. Cost is $5.00 per participant. The horse shoe pits are located by the Richmond Community Center on Festival Drive.

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED.

RICHMOND ANTIQUE & VINTAGE SNOWMOBILE DISPLAY – 10:00 a.m.

CHILDREN’S MAIN STREET PARADE – 11 am

The theme for 2015 is SUPERHEROES! Watch it or participate! Line up begins at 10:00 am on Beech Street. The parade travels up Main Street to Park Street, and will be led by an antique Fire Apparatus Muster. Sponsors TBA

PING PONG BALL BLOWOUT – Immediately following Children’s Parade

Catch a ping pong ball and redeem for prizes at the Festival Barn or at the many different participating local businesses. Prizes from the Festival Barn must be redeemed by 6 pm on Sunday. Sponsors TBA.

Watch sporting events on the big screen!

PUB ON THE MIDWAY OPENS-NOON

This tent will include Michigan craft beers, food served by the Hamlin Pub, and a relaxed pub atmosphere.

FIRE TRUCK DUNK TANK – 12 to 3:30 p.m.

Come out and dunk these gracious volunteers for a great cause! All proceeds go to the Great Lakes Burn Camp. Located at Bailey Park.

RICHMOND BEES VINTAGE BASEBALL GAME-Noon

This game will be held at Diamond A in the Beebe St. Park.

MIDWAY CARNIVAL – 12:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Pay $20 for a wristband and ride all day until 6:00 pm. Only individual tickets available after 6:00 pm. Provided by Mid-America Shows. Height restrictions apply on some rides.

CHILDREN’S GAMES – NOON to 1:30 p.m.

Fun, games, and prizes too! These FREE children’s games are for children 12 and under.

CHILDREN’S SIDEWALK CHALK ART CONTEST – NOON to 1:30 p.m.

Held on the Tiger Fruin Memorial Tyke Track. Contest for ages 12 and under. Register at the Beebe St. Park Pavilion between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. Winners will be announced at the registration table near the pavilion at 2:15 p.m.

RICHMOND HISTORIC VILLAGE OPEN & STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE SOCIAL-Noon to Dusk

The Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society will have their Historic Village open from Noon to Dusk. Admission is free; come take a tour of the grounds, watch demonstrations of the primitive arts, stop by the “stuff sale”, or try some of the best strawberry shortcake around for $5. Sponsored by the Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society.

This great event for dog lovers will be held at the Beebe St. Park Pavilion and will include fun categories and prizes!

Sept. 12th, 2015
Rwd feature 1st $2500, 2nd $1500, 3rd $750 mad dog $250.
Top 3 from each heat will receive $250 each plus trophies.
FWD 1 heat deal 1st $500 2nd $300 3rd $200 plus trophies.
Start time is 4:30 pm and gates close for entries at 2:30pm. We want plenty of time to inspect and as always there is a post inspection. Entry is $40 per class
