RAHGS “STUFF SALE” – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society will be holding a “Stuff Sale” at the Historic Village in Bailey Park on Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

RICHMOND: YESTERDAY AND TODAY-PEOPLE AND PLACES AT THE DOROH ART ACADEMY-11 to 4 p.m.

This exhibit at the Doroh Art Academy will include paintings and drawings of historic downtown Richmond and surrounding areas. The Doroh Art Academy is located at 69273 Main Street in Richmond, MI. All artwork is created by Peter M. Doroh. The show will run for the month of September when the gallery is open or by appointment. Artwork will be available for purchase. Artwork purchased during the show will be available for pick-up at the end of September.

MERCHANT & VENDOR SALES – 1:00 pm to dusk

The vendors and merchants at the Richmond Good Old Days sell many useful and interesting products. Vendors will be lined up along Beebe Street, next to the Festival Grounds. Come check it out!

FRIENDS OF LWML USED BOOK SALE – 1:00 p.m. to Dusk

Held at the Richmond Historical Village at Bailey Park.

RICHMOND HISTORIC VILLAGE OPEN & STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE SOCIAL-Noon to Dusk

The Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society will have their Historic Village open from Noon to Dusk. Admission is free; come take a tour of the grounds, watch demonstrations of the primitive arts, stop by the “stuff sale”, or try some of the best strawberry shortcake around for $5. Sponsored by the Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society.

MIDWAY CARNIVAL – 4:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Mid-America Shows will provide the rides and games. Pay $20.00 for a POP wristband and enjoy unlimited rides. Individual ride tickets are also available. (Height restrictions apply on some rides.)

FESTIVAL BEVERAGE TENT OPENS – 4:00 pm

PUB ON THE MIDWAY OPENS-4:00 p.m.

This tent will include Michigan craft beers, food served by the Hamlin Pub, and a relaxed pub atmosphere.

THE OUTRAGEOUS OUTHOUSE RACES – 6:30 p.m.

Come see who has the fastest toilet in town as they run down Main Street! Trophies will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Race begins at Main and Monroe Street.

RICHMOND HIGH SCHOOL F.I.R.S.T. ROBOTICS DEMONSTRATION – 6:00 p.m.

Held next to the skate park in Beebe Street Park.
