  • SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS - 8:00 am
    Over 40 men's and women's teams slug it out to see who is the best. Held on the Richmond Middle School softball fields off of Division Road (32 Mile Road).

  • 5th ANNUAL ANTIQUE FIRE APPARATUS MUSTER - 9:00 am
    Come and see antique fire trucks, the Amkus Rescue Tools truck and a new E-One fire engine on display at Bailey Park, near Festival grounds. Raffle will be drawn at 3:30 pm, need not be present to win. Sponsored by LTM Fire Equipment.

  • MERCHANT & VENDOR STREET SALES - 10:00 am to dusk
    Lined up along Washington and Beebe Streets. Also visit the Non-Profit Organizations to help support our surrounding community. No cost.

    Please note we are not able to accept vendors who sell food at the Festival. You must contact Mid America Shows.

  • CHILDREN'S MAIN STREET PARADE - 11:00 am
    The theme for the 2011, is the Richmond Zoo. Watch it or participate! Line up begins at 10:00 am on Beech Street. Parade travels up Main Street to Park Street and will be led by Antique Fire Apparatus Muster .- sponsored by Waste Management - Pine Tree Acres -

    Children's Parade Application

  • PING PONG BALL BLOWOUT - Immediately following the parade.
    Catch a ping pong ball and redeem them at the Festival Barn or at many different participating local businesses. Festival Barn prizes must be redeemed by 6 pm on Sunday. Sponsored by the local area businesses. (10& under only please.) We cannot stress enough that this event is for kids only.

  • FESTIVAL BEVERAGE TENT OPENS - Noon
    Watch sporting events on the big screen!
  • FIRE TRUCK DUNK TANK - Noon
    All Proceeds go to Great Lakes Burn Camp. Located at Bailey Park. Come out and sink Miss Richmond's court.
  • MIDWAY CARNIVAL OPENS - Noon to 10:00 pm
    Pay $20.00 for a wristband and ride all day until 6:00 pm. Only individual tickets availible after 6:00 pm. Provided by Mid America Shows.(Height restrictions apply on some rides.)
  • HISTORICAL BUILDINGS OPEN - 1:00 pm to dusk
    Old Schoolhouse, Log Cabin, Train Depot, and the Memorial Walkway are open for tours. Sponsored by the Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society. No Cost.
  • STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE SOCIAL - 1:00 pm to dusk
    Come by and try some of the best strawberry shortcake around. Sponsored by the Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society. Get yours fast! Only $4 per person.

    Held on the Tiger Fruin Memorial Trike Track. For ages 12 and under. Register at the Beebe St. Park Pavilion and art must be finished by 1:45 pm. Sponsored by Richmond Parks & Rec Department.
  • FIRE DEPARTMENT WATERBALL CONTEST - 1:00 pm
    Located on Bebe Street and Park Street.
  • CHILDREN'S CANDY SCRAMBLE - 2:00 pm
    Held at the wooden play structure in Beebe St. Park. Done by age groups. Sponsored by Richmond Parks & Rec Department. No Cost
  • CHILDREN'S AWARDS - 2:15 pm
    Announcement of Side walk chalk winners. Held on the Festival Stage. Sponsored by Richmond Parks and Recreation.
